With Project xCloud's testing phase winding downwardly, Microsoft sent out a short thank you notation to the thousands of preview plan members this morning to share their excitement for the next phase of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate'southward cloud streaming option. Project xCloud streaming will sit alongside the next-gen Xbox Serial Ten and Xbox Series S consoles as an option for taking your games on the road.
On September xv, Microsoft will expand Projection xCloud to every Xbox Game Laissez passer Ultimate member in 22 countries, including Republic of austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Kingdom of denmark, Finland, France, Frg, Republic of hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Republic of korea, Sweden, Switzerland, the Britain, and the United states of america.
The full library of games has yet to be revealed, only we're expecting well over 100 titles, with possible imminent announcements from major third-party publishers.
The video above was sent out to Project xCloud testers with thanks messages from the platform's various staffers, including Xbox lead Phil Spencer.
Project xCloud is the culmination of a pregnant engineering and financial investment from Microsoft, involving Microsoft's massive Azure cloud platform and unique server blades designed to directly mimic Xbox One consoles. Future upgrades to the servers volition bring Xbox Series 10 and S NVME SSD speeds, along with bumps in resolution, and other features specifically designed for cloud streaming, every bit opposed to the Xbox One-based solution the servers are using today.
Microsoft however has some challenges to solve, such as improving ergonomics, getting more accessory vendors to brand better mounts and phone prune solutions, as well equally improved UI and touch control features.
